According to a national survey in Kyrgyzstan, the prevalence of overweight among adolescent girls is classified as “high” according to the WHO thresholds (14.5 %). The prevalence of overweight shows a slight upward trend with age and is classified as “very high” among adolescents aged 16-18 years (20.8 %).
